Hey! This is the first time I have come across your blog and I have definitely enjoyed reading your thoughts on various shows that I watch. I was disappointed, however, to see that you didn’t have anything on Bones and think it would be great if you ever happened to watch it/review it (It’s one of my favorites). Kudos on your writing, though 🙂
Hey, K-Dog! Welcome and thanks for the suggestion! Bones is one of those shows that I really enjoy when I watch it, but for some reason, I miss various episodes and kind-of put it out of my mind. I’ll try to catch up on that and put it on my weekly list. Thanks!
Raked, what do you think of Omar Gooding? Do you remember him from Wild & Crazy Kids, or Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper? Did you know he’s Cuba Gooding Jr.’s brother? Do you believe, as imdb says, that he owns a pit bull named Xena?
Brian,
You’re right about Omar’s dog. Little known fact: the pit bull would later go on to achieve great fame in afternoon cable television after changing its name to Lucy Lawless.
I was interested if you would like to exchange links with us?
Please contact me, best regards!
I think you should have something about the wearable towel, the infomercial begging totally took me off guard (it kinda goes with “raked”) take a look, its going to be a bigger hit than the snuggie
i love it i want one
I must stay, that is the strangest thing. There might be an entire post on this in my future.
Might I suggest you catch Season 1 of USA’s In Plain Sight? It is a fabulous, hilarious show.
Also, I’d put USA’s summer/winter show Psych at the top of the New Show list.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely be catching PSYCH–I’m a fan of Dule Hill and thought it would be a great addition. And I’ll try In Plain Sight, too. That’d be a new one for me!
Have you watched The Vampire Diaries yet ? if so what are your thoughts on that show .
cheers
Actually, I have! I’m really enjoying it. I’ve written some posts on the first few episodes that expand my thoughts a little more. Here’s a quick link to everything tagged with Vampire Diaries. But overall, I like Stefan a lot. Very strong character. And the show is somehow very addictive. I just wish there wasn’t so much on Thursday night! I usually have to TiVo it and watch it later!
Since Glee and V are on hiatus, I figure I’d suggest some viewing replacements.
Friday Night Lights. (Netflix Instant Watch). Throw out your preconceived notions of this football centered highschool/town tv show and give it a go.
Robin Hood (BBC). (Netflix Instant Watch). Greatness. Although, I understand if this is a summer/low priority since it’s British and was canceled last year.
Legend of the Seeker. (Netflix Instant Watch). Pure fun.
Ooh, good suggestions. I’ve heard good things about FNL and CC, one of our writers, recommends it. And Legend of the Seeker’s had some good word of mouth, too. Haven’t heard anything about Robin Hood, though.
Thanks for noting that these are on Netflix Instant, too. This should be great, especially once we hit some of the Olympics lulls. We’ll see what we can do.
