I was once again a slacker and watched only 20 minutes of TV last night–this time 30 Rock. However, let it be known that I blame Boston public transportation for not letting me get home until 9:30 when I was aiming for 8:30.
I hadn’t even had dinner yet!
Anyway, since I have nothing to report, how about I let you know what’s on tonight? Who’s excited for the return of Dollhouse? I am, I am!
We’ve got a brand new Ghost Whisperer on at 8:00 on CBS. I’ll be tuning in. I can’t find much of interest about the new episode–other than the ghostly plot–so I can’t share much. I’m really just interested in finding out more about how Jim is dealing with being Sam. Oh, and did the previews show a possible baby in the belly? Intrigue!
Then at 9:00, we’ve got Dollhouse on FOX. Echo plays Adelle’s friend. Now that is a fake persona, isn’t it. Just kidding. Adelle’s nice. We’ve seen her vulnerable side now, so we must love her.
Finally, you can tune into a new The Best Years on The N. Unfortunately, I don’t know the time (I don’t get the network), but if you’re like me, you can tune in online after the fact. Most likely it will be dull and uninspiring like the rest of season 2. Can we step it up a knotch, please? I mean, at this point, even Devon’s whining was better than this. Who would have ever thought I’d be a fan of that puppy.
Ok, ok, here’s a rundown if you’re not just interested in the three Friday night shows I watch. Well, new ones, that is.
ABC: New Wife Swap (just recently renewed) and 20/20.
CBS: New Ghost Whisperer (of course), Flashpoint, and Numb3rs. A whole night of newbies!
FOX: New Prison Break (are YOU still watching?) and Dollhouse (as stated above).
NBC: New Howie Do It (two episodes–this is still on the air?) and Dateline.
The CW: New The Game and Everybody Hates Chris. Then you can check out the encore episode of ANTM.
What else? Well, if you’re desperate for movie action, Disney Channel has Hatching Pete, which I think is their newest TV movie. Mitchell Musso from Hannah Montana‘s in it–I hope he didn’t choose this over the Hannah Montana Movie. That’d be sad.
There’s apparently also a rerun of Moonlight on Sci Fi. You can check that out and then follow up on our vampire open thread with some thoughts. By the way, that’ll be open all weekend at least. I think so far we’ve covered killer robots, zombies, and orcs, all while discussing vampires. It’s pretty fun.
Is there anything I missed? Are you going to watch anything and everything? If so, then watch The Soup on E! Joel McHale can make fun of it all!
