Raked Reviews started as a small site dedicated to one person’s ramblings about her favorite shows. Since then, it’s grown, and with it has come many more shows–the good and the bad and, of course, those in between.
The site’s got one main author, with three guest writers (bios below). We’ve all got our own opinions and interests, and as you’ll notice in the comments, we don’t mind getting into squabbles about the shows.
The site’s arranged like this: The three newest posts are along the top, with red comment boxes at the end of each post. If you click the headline, you’ll get a cleaner page to read it.
Down at the bottom, you’ll see the most recent posts on the left, and the most recent comments on the right, along with my Twitter feed. If you’re looking for more, head into my archives or do a search. You can also look at the drop down menu for categories, which are usually shows, actors, or actresses.
We try to post within a day of airing, but sadly, sometimes we’re a little late. And if we are, tell us! There’s a Suggestions tab on the homepage where you can drop us a note, including if you want us to cover a new show (though we do tend to stay away from the majority of reality shows generally).
And feel free to follow on RSS and Twitter!

Raked grew up with TV, and it shows with her creation of this blog. Likes are the Whedonverse and anything quirky. Dislikes are reality TV and early cancellations. (Don’t even get her started on Studio 60, Eli Stone, or Joan of Arcadia.) Raked covers the majority of the shows on this blog and is willing to try more, even if it’s a rocky relationship. After all, that’s how she was introduced to Bones and Ghost Whisperer! She doesn’t hesitate to tell you what she doesn’t like–and she hopes you’ll come back with your opinions in the comments!
KT most often writes about How I Met Your Mother, Dollhouse, and Merlin, though she’s also been known to cover Doctor Who, Torchwood, and even Heroes. She’s a fan of good storytelling with a weakness for sci-fi, fantasy, and British costume dramas. She’s also convinced that Firefly is pretty much perfect, except for the whole cancellation problem. Some of her favorite shows of the past include Babylon 5, Star Trek, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and anything created by Joss Whedon.
JC is our resident culinary expert, liveblogging about Top Chef. He was also our Battlestar guru, posting some great info about the show’s final season. Unfortunately, he’s one of the many that seem to find his favorites on DVDs rather than on-air, including The Sopranos, Band of Brothers, and Carnivale–and yes, he’s still lamenting the cancellation of that show. He does find himself home with comedies, enjoying Seinfeld, The Big Bang Theory, and The Office. He likes to comment more than post, but he sure enjoys writing on the site in either capacity.
CC watches too much TV, but her brain hasn’t rotted yet. It took her parents years to finally get cable, and when they finally did, they created a pop culture monster. By default, she covers premium cable shows (and also Mad Men), since she pays an arm and a leg for HBO and Showtime. CC’s also convinced that Aaron Sorkin is her intellectual soul mate and, thus, owns DVDs of Studio 60 (RIP, prematurely), 7 seasons of The West Wing, and even Sports Night. Shows in the Sorkinian tradition of witty banter and “walk and talks” have a special place in her heart and are met with obsessive devotion…even if they’re terrible.
