Well, it’s very delayed, but I’m finally posting the pictures I took at the Writers’ Strike Rally that took place on December 14, 2007, in Cambridge, MA. It was definitely an exciting and enjoyable time, and I really think the points of the strike really echoed through the crowd. Hopefully, it will make a difference. I’m posting these so you can see all that came out–mostly fans–to support Joss Whedon, Jaime Paglia, Rob Kutner, and the many other writers out there who are striking for their respect out in LA.
These photos belong to me. Please do not use without my permission.

They hope to continue these rallies in other cities, so keep an eye to the web and find out if anything comes your way! The more we get involved, showing the corporations the support behind our writers, the sooner we’ll get our shows back.

[...] 5. The Writers’ Strike: I’m sure most of you hate me for putting this on the top ten list, but honestly, it was a defining time for TV. Viewers finally noticed that TV goes beyond the pretty faces on the screen and there were smart people behind it. Plus, I got to meet Joss Whedon at one of the rallies. [...]
